Resa Gibbshas taught vocal classes for 2008 and 2009 at Centrum's Country Blues Workshops, Port Townsend, WA.


In July of 2009, Jackie was awarded the honor of being the First Recipient of the John Cephas Scholarship created to carry on the study and tradition of Piedmont style guitar at Centrum?s Country Blues Workshops, Port Townsend, WA.

M.S.G. came in 2nd Place at the "Battle of the Bands", held in Washington, DC by the DC Blues Society. The winner will perform in Memphis for the IBC's.

Roddy Barnes, pianist extraordinaire, just completed composing and recording the music for this show, and I'm honored to be the Harmonica player on the theme song, plus several more tunes. Other musicians include Gaye, Ann & Andra (from Saffire the Uppity Blues Women).
